CURLIN new 380 Series Administration Sets are designed to be easy-to-use and operate.
We created this short quick tips video to help you before you start using the new sets.
This video focuses on two elements of preparing the set for use:
- Free-flow protection device preparation: To prepare the yellow free‑flow protection device, hold it in one hand with the half‑moon tab facing up and tubing exiting either side. With your other hand, twist the tab until it breaks off.
- Priming sets with a filter: When priming a set with a filter, turn the filter so the printed arrow points up. Keep the filter pointed up during the entire priming process. It will not prime correctly if laid on a flat surface. Once the tubing is fully primed, immediately close the slide clamp and hang the filter naturally with the arrow pointing down.
